Our Wedding Day

Finally our long journey of preparation has come to an end today!

Everything went on smoothly, we even have the blessing from god! Surprisely the day is a clear bright day, for us to continue our wedding programmes smoothly... We must go temple to pray for their blessing when we have somehow settled down.

During the day, here we have the FETCH THE BRIDE activity. Dear and his Xiong Di have to suffer during the gate crash.

After all the tea ceremonies have finished. We head back to our new residence to pack our stuffs to the hotel for check-in. Though there is some little hiccups, but still able to manage. The sword parties has all reached early for rehearsal. At around 5pm, all the importance pple gathered in our bridal suite for a briefing. There is the Groom (Edward), Banquet OIC (Sky) and Emcees (Ryan & Wendy).

While about 6pm, I am ready for my makeup for the evening. My in-law and mum also starts their makeup together.

And We are all ready to head down to the banquet to standby...

Next our First March-In during the banquet. With all the smart looking Guard of Honour who actually march-in for us couple. We are really honoured, and they have made the whole atmosphere very high and exciting.

Bridesmaid Wrist Corsage

After comparing so many florist shops and Internet retail shops...
In the end, I have come to a conclusion to make own Wrist Corsage. Have gathered ideas from internet the designs and should be easy to make them.

Chanceby Daiso to buy those necessary materials and Spotlight for the ribbon, where they are having a 50% disc for it. Why Not? Its cheap after all...

Total damage for the materials is about $18 for 6 bridesmaids...

Compared to each of $10 x 6 = $60...

Saving is $43...

Though is simple but still not too bad lah...Hope they will like it.

Ang Bao Box

After what we have heard from the hotel manager about their Ang Bao Box, how obique it is. We have set our mind to self make ourselves. I have already in mind how to make a simple Ang Bao Box, so I just go ahead with it.

Here it is, with the Hello Kitty plush toys which is just an additional into the picture.



The plush toys is suppose to be decorated with our wedding car =P

Tea Dress Shoe

Next is to find a suitable shoe to match for my Teadress (Cheongsam).

In fact, I really do not know how to match a cheongsam with a nice shoe, so I have taken a picture of my cheongsam. And it is suppose to help me pick and match a suitable shoe. In case the colour goes wrong again.

Today, I met up with my sister, cousin and aunt who is sourcing for apparels to wear for my wedding day too. So we decided to go bugis. Finally while shopping along Bugis Street, a pair of glamourous shoe manage to capture my attention. And I immediately tried on it, and try to match with my picture of the cheongsam. Its perfectly nice and well-matched!!!

Cheongsam Teadress

Our schedule for today is to source for our teadress and black shirt. After collecting the Cheongsam from dear's cousin, and realise that it is a bit oversize. Right after we head straight to Far East Plaza to look for my teadress.
Dear had suggested to go to the shop where he had bought his prom night suit before. We hunt the shop in every corner, as he has also forgotten where the shop had located.

In the end, we finally found the shop:

We took no more than half an hour, and tried almost 2 dresses to confirm one nice piece..
In the end we gain one free VIP card, and given a discount base on what I have spend to alter the dress to the right length.

Purple Cheongsam

Black shirt, so difficult to find. As it is suppose to be in silk material. If still cannot find, will have to look for alternative choice.

Actual Day wedding gown & album preview

My actual day wedding gown is with a nice rose design in front of the dress. I am told that it actually need much effort and time to have such nice fold and design on the dress. Quite unique to me, but dear was against it as he finds the rose too eye catching. But in the end i still insist on it, as out of the three designs i have tried. I am most comfortable with this piece.

Evening Gown, is in shocking pink bare back design. Like It!

Teadress, totally turn off from the range of designs they have. So limited that i can't even decide on any of them. I am ready to spend on one nice one which is appropriate for the tea ceremony.
I am thinking of Cheongsam, which i am not sure if i am good in them.

Day suit for dear, is suppose to go with my rose theme gown. Cream suit with a black lining, looks stylist and cool. Still pending to be confirmed.

Evening suit, black suit with a black lining which goes well with my shocking pink evening gown.

Album preview: All the pictures is nicely done. We are very happy with the artwork and it takes us fast to pick our pictures needed for our table-top photo, 3-in-1 photo frame, 4R photos, etc.. without hesitation.

When we reached there, outside the little shop is already swam by people sitting around and standing around like us, waiting for our turns.

We are attended by the staff there after a swift 15mins of standing around. But no seats for us yet, just to hold on to the heavy booklet of samples to choose. After flipping through the 1st round, somehow we have already decided what we wants. As most of the designs in the booklet is not very appealing that it will make us had a hard time on it.

After looking through for about another 10mins, we are finally invited to take a seat but is at their neighbour's area. We took no more than 5 mins to change the neccessary details from the sample list of format plus confirming on our card design.

After that, is another waiting to be attended again...

The experienced lady has explained in a very detailed and precise manner in the details we should follow and the procedure to finalising the cards for the print job.

We have confirmed on 80% cards base on 30 tables. That will be about 240 cards given to us. Which will give us allowance for some mistake on some cards.

In a brief 1 hour, we finally have completed another mission for our WEDDING...

Pre-wedding Photos Selection

Today we actually spend almost 3 hours choosing the photos.

300 over pictures and we can only choose 30 poses. We have been filtering out the photos for 3 rounds before we decide on our choice. But still exceed 10 pictures. Paid $520 for those extras.

Have a little arguement after this, as dear actually voice out his thoughts of the pictures he feels not very nice after its finalised. Which is too late! We gave in to each other too much and take for granted. That is the angry part, he is still keeping to himself too much and not voicing out to me his thoughts.

"Seems that we still have a long way to learnt how to communicate and understand each other better. "

After our 1st round of make-up, still waiting for our wedding gowns and suits to arrive the studio to do final touch-up.

" The whole photo session ended at about 7.30pm...What a tired and stressful day for us, as we have to keep on smiling and be natural. Even the photographer have to amuse us inorder to make us smile naturally. "

" Today is also part of my trial makeup session.
We actually waited for more than an hour for the makeup artiste to turn-up "Angry"! After done, we just couldn't accept the heavy make-up on myself. The colour looks too heavy on me. I will definitely feedback to her on the actual day to make me look more natural."
